Massage Therapy is not just an indulgence. It's an investment in your health.

Relaxation (Swedish) Massage

Stress is one of the most common complaints in today’s fast-paced society. Relaxation massage uses firm, but gentle pressure to promote relaxation, ease muscle tension, and create other health benefits. A classic massage that places emphasis on calming the nervous system through lighter pressure and a slower pace.

Therapeutic Deep Tissue Massage

Starting superficially and working deeper within the muscles can be incredibly effective and beneficial for pain, stress, and dysfunction. Using several different techniques, including but not limited to, such as myofascial release, trigger point therapy, neuromuscular techniques and/or heat, creates a relaxing, yet extremely therapeutic experience. Specific issues, areas of discomfort, or pain are addressed.

Sports Massage

This type of massage uses deep tissue massage techniques to help improve athletic performance, endurance, and mental focus. It also helps to prevent injury, reduce injury recovery time, and improve circulation while removing lactic acid build-up and cellular waste.

Cupping Massage

A modified version of ancient Chinese cupping therapy in which suction is produced on the skin in order to stimulate blood flow and promote healing. It is also used to stretch muscle and connective tissue. Combined with massage, this is a great modality for athletes or anyone who likes deep pressure with less discomfort. Please see our CUPPING page HERE for more information.

MLD (Manual Lymphatic Drainage) Massage

A subtle technique that uses light pressure, combined with soft pumping movements in the direction of the lymph nodes. It is a delicate form of massage that stimulates the body's lymphatic system helping the body to detoxify, improving metabolism, and providing a boost to the immune system. MLD is often used to treat minor swelling and edema related to injury, surgeries, and systemic conditions such as hypertension and diabetes. You must call in advance for this treatment. Please see our Lymphatic page HERE for more information.
